Taking care of your Grill Parts

One of the most important things in taking care of your grill parts if
fighting rust. There are the obvious things like don't leave them out in
the rain that certainly do help, but there are other things you can do
to keep these grill parts in good shape. As we all know oil and water
don't mix and its the oxygen in water that we need to keep away from our
metal parts, especially the ones that will be in contact with food. At
Grill Parts we like to use a little spray on cooking oil both before and
after we grill out. This keeps the food from sticking while you cook
and prevents rust after we're done. Plus you don't have to buy grill parts every year.

3 Tips for Healthy Grilling

3 Tips for Healthy Grilling

It's that time of year when one of the
best endings to a long day is a relaxing backyard cookout. But if
not done correctly, you might be getting more out of your grillout
than you think. One unintended side-effect of grilling meat can be
the release of potentially cancer-causing agents called heterocyclic
amines (HAs). To cut down on the amount of HAs that are released,
here are three tips:Grill more vegetables and less
meat. By making vegetables the main course instead of meat, you cut
down on both the amount of HAs and the amount of saturated fats in
	your diet.
Pre-cook your foods in either your
oven or on the stove before finishing them on the grill. The less
time on the grill, the fewer carcinogens created.
When you do grill meats, avoid
blackening or over-cooking it.Also consider the option of meat-free
burgers. There are plenty of healthy, filling options out there for
people wishing to side-step a burger for the evening meal. Look
online to find alternative options to ground beef. You might surprise
yourself (and your family) with a delicious new creation!

Chef's Secrets for Better Grill-Outs

Have
you ever wondered how some people can produce succulent, juicy meats
and tasty vegetables off the grill? Have you ever tried and failed to
do the same thing yourself? There are several things you can do to
increase your grilling prowess. Knowing these tips can mean the
difference between having famous burgers and having to order pizza. While
there is no ‘right way’ to grill, there are definitely things you can
do to make it better and things you can do to make it worse. Here are a
few things you want to avoid when grilling:1) Don’t press down on the meats with a spatula. It presses the juices out of the meat and onto the flame.2) Cutting too quickly. Wait ten minutes after removing the meat from the grill to carve it.3) Jumping the gun. Make sure you plan time to thaw and/or marinate the meat before you cook it.And to take your grill-outs to that next level, here are a few things to remember as you grill:1)
It sounds basic, but start with a clean grill. There’s nothing worse
than having your meat taste like the last two things you cooked on that
grill.2)
Pre-heat your grill for 15-20 minutes before you intend to cook. Don’t
waste time or energy cooking on a grill that is not at the right
temperature.3)
Use a gas grill for a cleaner taste and more even cooking. The
constant flame creates better conditions for cooking than using
charcoal, and is much easier to control. As
you grill, make sure you don’t cut corners. Time is almost always
saved at the expense of taste. And make sure your grill is in good
repair with working parts. For top-quality replacement grill parts,
look at www.grillparts.ws or grillparts.us. Keeping your grill in good
working order is the most basic, effective way to improve the quality of
your foods.

Spring into Spring with New Grill Parts!

It's that time of year! Time to check out your gas grill and start getting it ready for the upcoming grilling season.Put off by the cold weather? Now is the BEST time to fix up your grill, quickly and inexpensively. You don't need to buy a new grill every few years. It's simple to order just the parts you need, have them delivered to your door, and install them yourself (it's not rocket-science, we promise!). You save time and money AND get your grill running like new again! Most people under a certain age are not used to repairing things. When something runs out, you just get a new one. Good idea for a $30 coffee maker, bad idea for a $300 grill. For a fraction of the cost of a new grill, you can order a replacement grill part, have it shipped right to you, and install it yourself. Installation is not difficult- you're not putting together a model car. Most grill part installations take less than ten minutes, including the time it takes to throw away the old part! So for less money, you can repair your grill and have it working just like new. How many things do you own that are that simple to maintain? I'll bet you can't think of one. Other than your grill. Once spring hits, you will want to be ready to celebrate with backyard cookouts, gatherings of friends and family, or just a random weeknight dinner of a good steak. To have your grill ready then, now is the time to check it over and see if you need to replace any parts. Start the spring season prepared- check your grill out today!

Winning at Grilling

How do you win at grilling?By using award winning tips and tricks to grill your food. Yes, there are award-winning ways to make your cookouts memorable for everyone, and not in an awkward, 'we'll just eat the potato-salad' kind of way.Let's start with barbecue. Anyone who knows their barbecue knows there is an art to good, fall-off-the-bone BBQ. Whether you use vinegar, ketchup, or special spices, you've got a technique. Or do you? If you don't have a deliberate technique for your barbecue, check out some tips by the Food Network on their Award Winning Competition Barbecue Pork Recipe. For grilling other types of food, you should consider how you are grilling- using a gas or electric grill, direct heat or charcoal grilling- several things can affect how your food cooks, how long it takes to cook it evening, and how the meet (or veggies) retain the juices. Nothing is worse than dried-out meat. You want your meat to look like this. Also, pay attention to the types of wood you use for grilling and smoking. It has a huge effect on the flavor of the meat. Do you use Apple wood, Alder wood, or Beech wood? Here is a primer on the flavors these woods (and others) add to your cookout. However you roll this grilling season, make sure your grill is in working condition.
Fix your Grill-Don't replace it!

We at GrillParts have selfish reasons for wanting you to fix your grill instead of replacing it. We admit it. But we also have very good (non-selfish) reasons too. Buying replacement grill parts is cheaper than buying a whole new grill. It's easy to order online (say, from us), have the parts you need shipped to your door, and install them yourself. Sound like a lot of work? How much time do you have to work to earn the money it would take for a new grill? Now imagine doing that every few years, which is about how often something on that grill will need to be replaced. Come on, you know the grill parts stuff starts to look more inviting now, doesn't it?First- It's easy to order online. Period. Whether we have the parts you need or not, it's incredibly easy to find a replacement grill part online that is just for your make and model of grill. There are universal parts for most standard grills, and where there are not universal parts, there are dealers who specialize in certain brands of grill (side note: they're not better than us). So finding the parts you need is easier and less of a hassle than going to a store, shopping around, buying and then hauling home an enormous new grill. And we won't even get into disposing of the 'old' grill. Another side note for those who grew up in the age of disposable stuff: a 3 year old grill is NOT old. A 20 year old grill can still work just fine, with replacement grill parts. It's easy to make grills last that long. No, really, it is. Second- It's easy to have them shipped to your door. Instead of the time and energy it takes to wander to several different stores to find what you need and bring it home, with online grill parts stores, you just order and wait for them to arrive. Done and done. Third-Grill parts are easy to install yourself. It doesn't take an advanced degree, a special diagram, or a hazard suit. Most of the replaceable parts- cooking grids, burners, heat plates, are incredibly easy to remove and replace. It take all of ten minutes. Really. So contrast that with the hours you work to earn the money for a new grill and the hassle of looking for one and bringing it home with the ease of ordering online and installing in a few minutes. Viola! A working grill in a faction of the time and effort it would take to get a new one. So, yes, we want you to buy from us. We think we sell good stuff that makes your life easier. But we also want to educate you and your grilling buddies about how easy it is to FIX your grill instead of REPLACING it. Most people don't know. So they waste time and money. And who has that to waste these days?Just sayin.'
